THE INDIAN NAVY INVITES FINAL YEAR ENGINEERING STUDENTS TO JOIN THE INDIAN NAVY AS SHORT SERVICE 

COMMISSIONED OFFICER IN TECHNICAL / EXECUTIVE BRANCHES UNDER UNIVERSITY ENTRY SCHEME (UES).

Applications are invited from unmarried male and female candidates who fulfill eligibility condition of Nationality as laid down by 

the Government of INDIA for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Technical / Executive Branches of the INDIAN Navy 

under University Entry Scheme (UES), for course commencing July 2012.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:

Age: 19 to 24 years (i.e. born between 02 July 1988 to July 1993, (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification: Applicant should be studying in a recognized university with one of the following disciplines 

and should have obtained 60% aggregate marks till pre final year (upto VI semester):-

PHYSICAL STANDARDS:

The candidates must be physically fit according to following physical standards:-

a) Height and Weight: Minimum height - 157 cms for male candidates and 152 cms for female candidates with correlated wieght.

b) Eye Sight: 

i) Technical Branch: 6/24, 6/24 correctable to 6/6 in each eye with glasses.

ii) General Service (Executives): 6/12, 6/12 correctable to 6/6 in each eye with glasses.

THE CANDIDATES SHOULD NOT BE COLOR / NIGHT BLIND.
